Aurion Learning works with a number of public sector organisations and government agencies across the UK and Ireland to develop innovative online learning solutions.

We offer a wide range of learning and development services to our public sector clients including: e-learning: online learning portals; learning management systems; online professional development tools, and strategy and capability building services.

Data Protection

After a number of serious data security incidents across UK government departments, the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) decided to deliver data protection training to its 20,000 employees. Our data protection e-learning programme make employees realise data is about people and consider the consequences of poor data management on both the public (identity theft, security issues) and themselves (embarrassment, sacking, prison).

Autism Toolkit

We worked with the Department of Education, Irish Society for Autism (ISA), and Parents and Professionals Autism NI (PAPA) to produce educational resources on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We developed a video for parents who have recently had a child diagnosed with ASD and a teacher’s toolkit.

Smoking Cessation

During this project we simultaneously created our Smoking Cessation e-learning programme to increase health professionals’ skills and confidence in managing smoking cessation with patients, and we delivered instructional design training to our client, The Public health Agency.

Diversity Now

Aurion Learning designed and built a three hour equality and diversity e-learning programme for The Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS). We also teamed up with local face-to-face training providers to develop a Train the trainer pack which includes workshop materials and a CD-ROM with content from the e-learning programme.
