Effective Study Skills - Institute of Hospitality

Effective Study Skills For this project, Aurion Learning developed a series of e-learning titles for The Institute of Hospitality (IOH). The client needed high quality e-learning within a very short timeframe, and with a limited budget.

We developed rapid e-learning programmes in the following subjects and uploaded them to the IOH's Moodle learning environment:

Effective Study Skills
Information and Research Handling in Hospitality and Tourism
Introduction to Personal Development in Hospitality and Tourism
Managing Your Professional Portfolio in Hospitality and Tourism
French Language Skills for Hospitality.

Each e-learning unit takes about 20 – 30 minutes to complete and features audio recordings, interactive animations, interactive quizzes and games, suggested additional activities as well as additional resources.

The e-learning units are freely available to all those working or studying in the area of Hospitality and Tourism as voluntary continuing professional development (CPD) activities. Members of the IOH can use the e-learning units as a part of their CPD. Additional support is provided for those who wish to complete an approved Awarding Body assessment and achieve credit towards Institute of Hospitality Management Qualifications.

Aurion Learning have provided a rapid and cost effective solution to our e-learning development. Making e-learning accessible and readily available to professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector has been our goal and this has proved achievable using the Aurion solution. We are delighted with the results.
