Using Aurion Learning’s online learning solutions is bringing business benefits to CJ Lang, Scotland’s largest independent retailing and distribution company.
Earlier this year, CJ Lang commissioned Aurion Learning to provide a solution to meet the strategic need to introduce online learning elements to the business as part of the HR developments.
As the SPAR wholesaler for Scotland, the company supports over 300 member stores across the country with a range of services including training.
The Aurion solution is geared towards kick-starting the CJ Lang online learning initiative and includes the following components:
Collectively, these solutions will assist CJ Lang in delivering and tracking training activities in SPAR stores across Scotland, with the ability to add more modules over time.
Speaking about the new online solutions, Angie Merrilees, Training Manager at CJ Lang said:
“Conducting this training via e-learning is proving to be very valuable to us, not only in terms of ensuring we are legally compliant but also ensuring that staff are getting the full information they need before starting their role.”
“Aurion have been very accommodating and a huge support in helping us on this journey into e-learning, which is completely new to the organisation and a big change in how we used to do things. Myself and the training team are very excited about all the new possibilities e-learning and LMS brings.”
Gavin Woods, Business Development Manager, Aurion Learning said:
“We are delighted to have been selected to partner with CJ Lang and the SPAR brand across Scotland. We look forward to supporting the team as they progress on their E-Learning journey.”
In October later this year, Angie will speak of CJ Lang’s experience of implementing these online learning solutions at Aurion Learning’s annual masterclass series.
Held in Edinburgh on Thursday 1st October from 9.30am – 1pm, the free-to-attend event will bring together HR, training and L&D professionals to discover how to get the most out of E-Learning in their organisation.
