Dr Maureen Murphy, MD of Aurion Learning was named winner of Outstanding Management and Leadership award at the Women in Business Northern Ireland awards recently.
As co-founder and Managing Director of Aurion Learning, Maureen has grown the online learning solutions company organically from its start-up in 2000 to a turnover in excess of £1million. The MD was specifically commended for her positive attitude and charismatic leadership style.
Speaking on her success an elated Maureen said;
"I am absolutely delighted; winning the title of Outstanding Management and Leadership is extremely gratifying. However, this personal achievement is a real testament to the hard work from my colleagues within Aurion Learning, as our work has always been and remains a team effort."
The Women in Business Awards celebrate the most entrepreneurial and innovative women in business from across Northern Ireland.
Speaking at the event Roseann Kelly, Chief Executive of Women in Business NI, said:
