Aurion exhibit at the Inter Professional CPD Forum

Aurion recently attended and exhibited at the Inter Professional CPD Forum at the beautiful Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) at Portland Place in London.
The Event was well attended with representatives from over 40 Professional Bodies throughout the UK and Ireland. The aim of the Event was to ‘widen understanding of CPD and its role in developing the competence of professional staff’ and throughout the day a number of very interesting breakout sessions provided a useful platform for discussion and debate. In particular a ‘lively’ plenary debate in the afternoon opened up the very topical issue of mandatory CPD Versus the idea that CPD is best left to individual professionals. Input from Steven Gould, Director of Regulation, RICS and Tony Osude, Head of Professional Development, ACCA provided very interesting arguments in the for and against. No doubt, the debate will go on!
