The Department of Health National Patient Safety Office (NPSO) aims to ensure safe health services by leading key patient safety policy initiatives. One of these initiatives centres on extending the national clinical effectiveness framework to promote evidence-based healthcare.
In late 2016, the NPSO identified a requirement for a suite of online learning resources that would enable individuals and groups to advance their clinical effectiveness knowledge and skills at a time and pace that best suits their schedule in an accessible and flexible format.
In late 2016, Aurion Learning successfully tendered for the contract to develop a suite of clinical effectiveness eLearning courseware and configure a learning management system for the National Patient Safety Office. Utilising our expertise in reviewing requirements from a technical, graphic design and instructional design standpoint, we combined a wide range of engaging content formats including video pieces to camera and eLearning interactions.
