Challenge

NSPCC approached Aurion Learning with the need for a new educational resource that would teach primary school children about keeping safe from abuse as part of the national ‘Keeping Safe’ project.

NSPCC required a comprehensive learning solution that would combine interactive content for the classroom with online training for school staff, leaders and parents as they played their role in Keeping Safe.

Solution

Working collaboratively with the NSPCC education team and appointed teachers, we designed and developed a full ‘Keeping Safe’ content solution.

The content was structured around three key roll-out stages: ‘Introducing’, ‘Delivering’ and ‘Embedding’ Keeping Safe within schools.

All content was designed to be engaging, accessible, age-appropriate and educationally sound.

"Right from the outset, Aurion impressed us. They helped us to clarify our key messages to each audience and engaged with us constructively and proactively to create a very effective solution." Phyllis Stephenson, Education Adviser, Children’s Services, NSPCC

Results

The programme has now been implemented in select schools. The NSPCC team conducted extensive evaluation and have reported its impact and the feedback from teachers, parents and pupils has been very positive.
